What is causing the increase in energy cost today?
Energy cost is trending 8.4% above the normal Tuesday baseline. The largest contributors are overlapping operation of Compressor C-03 and Pump P-12 between 14:10 and 14:42, plus a 6% efficiency drop on Pump P-12. I recommend shifting the non-critical compressor cycle by 25 minutes and scheduling an inspection of Pump P-12.
Can we reduce the peak without affecting production?
Yes. Based on current production demand, re-sequencing two non-critical loads can reduce the projected peak by approximately 7% while maintaining the current output target. Final implementation should be approved by the plant operations team.
